Show & Tell
Members are encouraged to bring their completed quilts (or even those under construction) and items from classes to share with others at the day and night meetings. This is a great chance to get new ideas or to find out about techniques used by asking the quilter questions about the construction.

Here is the front and back of the quilt Maree Luckman made for her daughters 40th birthday gift. 5000 1inch (finished) squares. Quilted by Suzanne Sage (thank you Suzanne)
The pieces were sewn into 10x10 squares then those joined together. The aim was to pick pieces from the box of cut squares totally at random with the "rule" that the same colour should not be next to each other. Maree pretty much followed that, in a modified manner. She said this was a marathon rather than a sprint!
Margaret Iacoppi finished the bargello top from the workshop. She had bought fabric that was wider than the norm and had difficulty on the day with the measurements. She's happy with how it’s come together and will finish it and then hopes to get her husband's agreement to put it up!
Clare O'Connor has been making cloth books for her niece’s young children. She's having fun and they are relatively easy to do! Her latest is the Wheels on the Bus story from Fibre Flair.
Stephanie Peach has made a quilt for her sister in law's birthday in February.
