Exhibition 2021
Rapt in Quilts Exhibition 2021
Was held at Southward Car Museum, Paraparaumu on April 17th & 18th from 9am to 4pm.
Quilts were submitted by members of the Kapiti Coast Guild, and were in two main sections this year - Judged and Display Only.
Chris Kenna and Clare Smith were our judges.
Attendees were able to vote for viewers choice across both sections and also for the Textiles section and Challenge Quilts. The Challenge quilt theme was "Water" - the quilt or wall hanging etc could be any shape to fit within 19x26 inches. It could be portrait or landscape and have 3 layers. It was interesting seeing the variety of ways our members tackled this theme.
Now that the exhibition is over we can show the entries online.
